美濃地方は日本一の陶磁器生産地です。そして、その分 不良品や破損品など多くの「陶片」が存在します。「チップス」て言う会社は、その「陶片」に由来しています。
製品を作る過程で生み出してしまった不良品や破損品などの「陶片」 を再利用することが、今、チップスが環境のために出来る事だと考えました。 「SAI」は、原料の約20％に自社不良品である「陶片」を砕いた再生土を使っています。
小さな一歩かも知れないけれど、製品として世に出ることがなかった 「陶片」に再びテーブルを彩る機会を作り、少しでも環境のために役立つことを願っています。
The Mino region, where CHIPS inc. makes ceramics, is the largest ceramic production area in Japan.
To combat the wastage of damaged and defected products, CHIPS inc. has been developing and incorporating recycled clay into brand new pottery. All SAI vessels are made of recycled clay and mixed with 20% of products that would have been discarded otherwise. We at Tokyo Coffee are proud to join this effort with our own eco-friendly organic whole bean coffee!

TOKYO COFFEEではフルシティローストが最もバランスの取れた焙煎具合だと考えています。酸味を残しつつ、コーヒー豆の醍醐味でもある苦味と甘味の共演を楽しめます。その為、２ハゼ直前まで煎った状態でも香り豊かでリッチな味わいに仕上げっています。
