エルゴン山という山には、アフリカでも有数のオーガニックコーヒーを栽培する農家が密集しています。 シピ・フォールズは、この山で最も有名な滝の名を冠した、カプチョルワ地区にある集中型の湿式粉砕機を指し、山の北部に広がる8,000の有機農園や多様な農園からチェリーを購入し、加工しています。このウェットミルで生産される高品質なコーヒーは、標高、生物学的な豊かさ、人間の経験など、理想的な条件が農家とSipi Fallsの経営陣の間にあることを物語っています。
Our Uganda Organic Coffee is 100% JAS Organic Coffee. Sipi Falls is located in Uganda’s Kapchorwa district. The coffee is grown in conditions ideally suited for the production of specialty coffee on the beautiful slopes of Mt. Elgon. Since receiving its first organic certification in 2002, the project has added UTZ, JAS (Organic), and Rainforest Alliance certifications, blossoming into a successful enterprise that has significantlly improved enviornmental, social, and financial conditions in the region.
